Operational changes made by the FijiFirst government to Fiji Airways has enabled the company to be where it is today.
Civil Aviation Minister, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum made this statement while speaking to FBC News.
Sayed-Khaiyum says the national airline company is in a good space to grow, however criticism have spurred the airline.
“In respect to the numerous changes we made a few years ago, you know some people condemned it at that point in time they did not obviously get the vision, did not see the long term or did not think beyond their noses and these types of decisions is now paying dividends”
Fiji Airways Chief Executive, Andre Viljoen says for the company to grow there will always be room for improvements.
